Help a fellow diver in need
Joanne Edney is a recreational diver and post graduate student at Charles Sturt University, and she is inviting divers from across Australia to participate in an on-line survey (http://surveymonkey.com/s/diversurvey2010).
The study seeks to contribute to an understanding of the characteristics, motivations and attitudes of Australian divers. We know very little about Australian divers and most studies were conducted some time ago. Joanne wants to use this data to give managers and dive operators a better understanding of divers and enable them to provide the type of dive experiences that meet divers’ needs
Surveying people from across Australia can be difficult, so Joanne has created a web-based survey that takes around 10 minutes to complete. The survey can be accessed from anywhere in Australia at http://surveymonkey.com/s/diversurvey2010. For those who prefer to complete a hard copy of the survey, they can contact Joanne at diver.survey@gmail.com or 0451 459 909.
Joanne is keen to get as many people as possible to participate in the on-line survey, regardless of their dive experience. All views and opinions are valued. All information provided remains anonymous, no names are recorded and only analysed data is published. The results of this research can be made available to participants on request after completion of the study.
So if you can spare 10 minutes, please contribute to help make everyones’ diving experience better!
