This Week in Diving – 21/2/2011
We’ve missed out on a post due to an internet connection going down, but we’re back and ready to bring you more diving news
Bubbles from the past
Looks like the reef did not sustain too much damage from the cyclone and those who made it out last week were treated to the colourful fish and coral that they’ve come to expect.
Now that we have internet connection again, we are again about to posted up skipper Craig’s dive report from before the cyclone, so it you need a break from the clean-up, drop by soon for a read.
Something to wet your appetite
It’s a tad windy this week with wind speed picking up on Wednesday to 20-25 knots and only coming down to 15-20 knots on the weekend. Not much sun either as the forecast is cloudy most of the week. That being said, all the dive shops are now back in action, so if you feel like you need to use your government disaster recovery grant to satisfy your diving cravings, there is no shortage of dive trips to choose from!
Land lubbers
Remote Area Dive has just launched a youtube video, so if you’re sitting at home dreaming about diving, why not check it out?
If anyone has contributions please e-mail them through to admin@divingtownsville.com by Monday afternoon and they will make the Monday evening edition of TWID.
